How We Compare Tools
These pages are written by the team that builds ChessLogix, so treat the verdicts as an interested party's opinion and the facts as things you can check. Every comparison links the official product pages its claims come from, and carries the date that page was last read against them.
What that date does not mean: it is not a record of someone buying the competitor's top tier and running the same twenty games through both tools. Feature claims describe what each product publicly documents. Where we have not tested something ourselves, we do not assert it.
Each comparison is written around the job the other tool is genuinely good at, and each one names the case where that tool is the better purchase — because a comparison set in which we win every page would tell you nothing. Pages are rechecked on a quarterly cycle, and the review date changes only when the claims were actually re-read.
What each comparison has to contain
